Who We Are
The Red Sichuan Cuisine (THE RED) is established with its love for the diverse city of Markham. We are focusing on creativity, health and trend upon which our food is based, with the combination of Chinese traditional Sichuan Cuisine, Beijing cuisine and southern Chinese Cuisine. THE RED uses mainly locally sourced food from Ontario’s bountiful farms and ranches. We are determined to build strong ties to the local supplier so that we can count on serving up the freshest tasting dishes and supporting our locally owned and operated businesses. In order to bring the authentic taste to our dining table, we also select and import the best cooking ingredients from different regions of China. The dining environment has been designed with vibrant color theme utilizing lots of texture, cozy leather, elegant lightening fixture and beautiful flooring. With the unique taste of our food, our customers will not only enjoy an unforgettable dining experience, but also be immersed in traditional Chinese cooking culture.

Spicy, spicy, and more spicy! It's Sichuan (Szechuan, according to some) food. Lots of spice from chili peppers to their chili oils and even pepper powder. Wife loves this place. They also have a selection of non spicy items. Perfect for me. You can also do takeout. They will even take your order the day before so they can have it ready for the next day's lunch.
